Patient Notice
Poplars surgery is open daily whilst building work continues at Stanmore Road Surgery.
Out of Hours Service
Between 18:30 and 08.00 Monday to Friday and all day at weekends and on Bank Holidays, your call will be redirected to the NHS 111 service.
Prescribing Department
The prescribing department will be open between 10:00-16:00.
All repeat medication for The Poplars Surgery must be emailed, requested via online services or via the pharmacy.
Extended Hours
We do carry out extended hours to help our patients who work a distance from their homes and find it difficult to get back during normal surgery hours to see a doctor.
The surgeries take place at the St Nicholas Surgery for all practices within Stevenage North PCN. These are available on:
- Monday – Friday, from 18:30-20:00
- Saturday and Sunday from 09:00-13:00
As with all appointments, patients from all our locations can be seen at any of the surgeries.
In an emergency ring 01438 313223 and you will be transferred to out of hours 111.
Do not attend A&E unless you have a medical emergency. Your pharmacist may be able to help if your problem is a minor one.
