Physician Associates can be identified by their peacock coloured scrubs.

Physician Associate’s are healthcare professionals who work as part of a healthcare team to assist in diagnosing and managing medical conditions within their competency. PAs are trained under the medical model and are supervised by a doctor.

Graduates from a life science background complete an intensive two year Masters level course in Physician Associate studies. This is followed by an exam within the Faculty of Physician Associates, Royal College of Physicians to be placed on the Physician Associate Managed Voluntary Register (PMVR).

You may be seen by one of us for the minor illness, learning disability, physical health checks and asthma clinics. Any questions about our role please do not hesitate to ask.
